At Dunslow Road Veterinary Surgery, we offer a variety of services to care for your pet – please find examples of these services below. If you have any questions or would like more information on how we can care for your pet, please contact us today.
We offer 24-hour emergency care shared with Companion Care at Pets at Home. Please call us at 01723 586392 if you have an emergency, and we will do our best to help you through this frightening and stressful time. Emergencies can be a terrible experience for pets and pet owners, so we promise to communicate with you and make the process less stressful. We also offer emergency surgery as well as critical care.
Please attempt to call ahead in case of an emergency to alert us to the situation and allow us to prepare.
We understand that it is not always possible to bring your pet to our clinic – that is why we offer house calls and see animals in your own home. There are many challenges in caring for an animal that cannot be moved from their location for one reason or another. Please let us know of any specific requests or conditions that will require special attention.
We promise to communicate with you throughout the process to make sure it goes smoothly for you and your animal.
Besides a variety of health benefits that help your pet live a longer, happier life, there are also behavioural benefits to spaying and neutering your pets. It also helps decrease the number of homeless pets and strays that get euthanised every year.
If you have any questions or would like more information on our spaying and neutering services, please contact us.
We offer state-of-the-art medical technology to ensure the best possible care for your pet. One of the diagnostic tools we use is ultrasound, which creates images of the inner workings of the body.
Ultrasound uses sound waves to offer a non-invasive, painless, and radiation-free method of imaging your pet’s internal organs. By using ultrasound, we have yet another powerful tool at our disposal to detect, diagnose and prevent illness in your pet.
Radiology is another modern technique and diagnostic tool that we use to look inside the body in a completely non-invasive way. X-rays allow us to create images of all the body’s organs. In other words, the use of radiology gives us a view of the internal organs in your pet’s body that we otherwise could not see.
It’s an important diagnostic tool that helps veterinarians detect and prevent illness. The use of radiology is safe and our entire staff is highly trained. It is our goal to provide your pet with the highest level of medical care possible, and this is just one of the many ways we achieve that.
At Dunslow Road Veterinary Surgery, we believe that one of the most important aspects of caring for your pet’s health is vaccinating them against potential diseases.
There are a variety of diseases that affect our pets and animals. This makes proper vaccination vital in protecting them from the many types of illnesses they are susceptible to. It’s important to consult with us about the unique risks of living in our region. We will be happy to discuss the benefits of protecting your pet with vaccinations, as well as providing you with information on the required vaccinations for your pet.
It is our goal to provide the highest level of care for your pet, and vaccination is an integral part of your pet’s overall health. Please contact us today if you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s vaccination.
There are times when you may not be able to schedule an appointment, and we understand that. In those cases, we welcome you and your pet to visit us on a walk-in basis.
Appointments are always preferred and will take precedence over walk-ins, but we realise the importance of having this option with people’s busy schedules.
